Hi friends, we have been concentrating more into web template
designing and it has been sometime since we have posted some tutorials
relating to graphic designing. Today we return back to a graphic
designing tutorial. We are going to see how to create a colorful flyer
using Photoshop. This tutorial majorly uses brushes only. Ok, let’s go
into the tutorial.
To proceed with this tutorial we need the following Photoshop brushes
Step 1: Open a new document of size A5 with white background
Step 2: Choose the rectangular marquee tool and make a rectangular selection like this.
Step 3: Choose the gradient tool and click on the gradient editor available on the properties bar and choose a gradient like this.
Step 4: Choose radial gradient and click and drag like this inside the selection that you have made.
Step 5: Next press Ctrl + Shift + I to make an inverse selection.
Step 6: Again choose the gradient tool and choose a gradient like this.
Step 7: Click and drag like this.
Step 8: Select the brushes tool and click here on the properties bar to open the brushes option.
Step 9: Click on this small right arrow and choose replace brushes.
Step 10: A dialog box opens. search and select tree brushes which you have downloaded and give “load” in the dialog box.
Step 11: Choose the following brush from it
Step 12: Make foreground color as black and apply it like this.
Step 13: Create one more new layer and apply one more tree brush like this.
Step 14: Next load the urban brushes and apply it like this.
Step 15: Next load bird brushes and apply it like this.
Step 16: Select all the layers other than the two gradient layers and take a copy of it by drag dropping all the selected layers in the create new layer icon at the bottom of the layers palette.
Step 17: Now select all the copied layers and press Ctrl + E to merge them into one single layer.
Step 18: Select the merged layer press Ctrl + T to open the transform controls and right click and choose “flip vertical” option that comes from the drop down menu that appears.
Step 19: Reduce fill of that reflection layer to 30%
Step 20: Next load the paint brushes and select the brush with diameter as 458 px press F5 to open the brushes palette and choose the following settings.
Step 21: Next select the pen tool and select paths option and draw a line like this.
Step 22: With the pen tool still selected, right click and choose stroke path option and select brush option from the dialog box that appears and give ok. Then press esc key twice to get rid of the path.
Step 23: Next load grunge border brushes and select the brush with 768 px and apply it. Next Press ctrl + t, open the transform controls and rotate it through 90 degrees and place it like this.
Step 24: Open a new document of size 10 px X 10 px with transparent background.
Step 25: Create a rectangle of size 1 px width in white in color.
Step 26: Press ctrl + a, select all and then goto edit -> define pattern and click ok in the dialog box that appears.
Step 27: Create a new layer goto -> edit -> fill. Choose the pattern option from that dialog box and select the current pattern that you have created.
Step 28: Press ctrl + t and expand it like this and then rotate it through 30 degrees and then place it like this.
Step 29: Take a copy of that layer and place that copied layer like this. Such that it covers the entire canvas.
Step 30: Change the blending mode of both line layers as overlay.
Step 31: Select the brush layer which is applied in the center and press ctrl + i to covert it into black.
Step 31: Next add text like this.

Step 11: Choose the following brush from it
Step 12: Make foreground color as black and apply it like this.
Step 13: Create one more new layer and apply one more tree brush like this.
Step 14: Next load the urban brushes and apply it like this.
Step 15: Next load bird brushes and apply it like this.
Step 16: Select all the layers other than the two gradient layers and take a copy of it by drag dropping all the selected layers in the create new layer icon at the bottom of the layers palette.
Step 17: Now select all the copied layers and press Ctrl + E to merge them into one single layer.
Step 18: Select the merged layer press Ctrl + T to open the transform controls and right click and choose “flip vertical” option that comes from the drop down menu that appears.
Step 19: Reduce fill of that reflection layer to 30%
Step 20: Next load the paint brushes and select the brush with diameter as 458 px press F5 to open the brushes palette and choose the following settings.
Step 21: Next select the pen tool and select paths option and draw a line like this.
Step 22: With the pen tool still selected, right click and choose stroke path option and select brush option from the dialog box that appears and give ok. Then press esc key twice to get rid of the path.
Step 23: Next load grunge border brushes and select the brush with 768 px and apply it. Next Press ctrl + t, open the transform controls and rotate it through 90 degrees and place it like this.
Step 24: Open a new document of size 10 px X 10 px with transparent background.

Step 28: Press ctrl + t and expand it like this and then rotate it through 30 degrees and then place it like this.
Step 29: Take a copy of that layer and place that copied layer like this. Such that it covers the entire canvas.
Step 30: Change the blending mode of both line layers as overlay.
Step 31: Select the brush layer which is applied in the center and press ctrl + i to covert it into black.
Step 31: Next add text like this.
