Hi friends, it’s good to be back again with one of my favorite
tutorial. Today in this Photoshop Typography Tutorial we will be
creating a beautiful and realistic golden bling jewelry text effect.
This is a beautiful effect, and very easy to come up with such an
realistic outlook. With the minimum use of filter and layer styles we
can come out with this beautiful text effect. OK now let’s move on to
the tutorial.
STEP-1 Open a new document with width and height of 500px.

STEP-2 Pick the type tool from the tools palette or just press T to bring in the type tool. Now type any word of your choice with any broad and thick font with the color code # c2872b.

STEP-3 Go to filter>noise>add noise and set the noise amount to 21.27.

STEP-4 Again go to filter>blur>Gaussian blur and set the radius amount to 0.5.

STEP-5 Again go to filter>Render>lighting effects and set the following values accordingly.

STEP-6 Double click on this text layer to bring in the layer style window. Once the window appears, set the following layer style values. Here I have used DROP SHADOW, OUTER GLOW, BEVEL EMBOSS effects.

STEP-7 Now open a new document with width and height of 400 pixels repectively, let the background be transparent. Pick the custom shape tool and from the options bar select the 5 point star shape and draw the shape as I have done it below.

STEP-8 Now right click on this shape layer and select the option rasterize. Once you have rasterized the shape, go to edit>define brush preset and press ok.

STEP-9 Once you have created the brush. Now it’s time to create the paths. To do that, create a new layer at the top of text layer, let the foreground color be white, pick the pen tool and from the option bar at the top, select the option paths, create a path at the middle of the text. See the image below.

STEP-10 Now press B, select the brush, which we had created before, press F5 to bring in the brush palette, set the following brush attributes as follow.

STEP-11 Now again press P to bring in the pen tool, right click on the path which we had created earlier, select the option stroke path, stroke path window will appear, select the option brush and press ok. The path will be filled with stars.

STEP-12 Now double click on this star layer to bring in the layer style window and apply the following layer style values. Here I have used DROP SHADOW and BEVEL EMBOSS.
