Create a party ball in Photoshop from scratch

Hi friends, i always love to create party flyer because it is always colorful and does not has any restrictions to create them. In this tutorial we are going to see how to create a party ball in Photoshop from scratch. In this tutorial we mostly use only filters and layer styles. Ok let us go inside the tutorial.

 

 

 

Preview

Step 1: Open a new document of size 600 px X 450 px
Step 2: Open another new document of size 20 px X 20 px with transparent background.

Step 3: Press Ctrl + A. Goto Edit -> Stroke and give the following settings



Step 4: Next choose edit -> Define pattern

Step 5: Again get back to the original document
Step 6: Create a new layer goto Edit -> Fill and choose pattern option in that and choose the current pattern which you have created




Step 6: Next select the elliptical marquee tool and make a circular selection like this by holding shift

Step 7: Next goto Filter -> Distort -> Spherize and apply ok


Step 8: Next press Ctrl + Shift + I to select the inverse area and delete it

Step 9: Again press Ctrl + Shift + I to get back the same selection
Step 10: Create a new layer
Step 11: Choose the gradient tool and choose a gradient like this

Step 12: Choose the radial gradient option and click and drag like this.


Step 13: Now place the radial gradient layer below the grid layer

Step 14: Select the grid layer and press ctrl + I to change it into white color

Step 15: Now change the blending mode of the grid layer into soft light


Step 16: Now add the following layer styles to the grid layer

Step 17: Select the radial gradient layer and apply the following layer styles for it

Step 18: Take the rectangular marquee tool and then make a rectangular selection like this.

Step 19: Again take the gradient tool and select a gradient like this

Step 20: Apply the gradient like this.


Step 21: Now place this layer below all other layers like this

Step 22: Select the background and apply black to it.

Step 23: Next choose this particluar brush and apply like this in different sizes. This brush is available in assorted brushes set
