Hi friends, we are back again with
another Photoshop Text effect. Today in this Photoshop Tutorial, we will
be creating a chocolate text effect. You will learn how to create this
chocolate text effect using some interesting filters. This will give you
a realistic chocolate effect. Ok let’s move on to the tutorial.
STEP-1 Open a new document with width of 500 pixels respectively.
STEP-2 Pick the text tool with the colour code # 351405 or darker. And type any word as you like.
STEP-3 Press CTRL+T to bring in the transform tool, right click on this transform tool and select the option skew. Once you have selected skew option, skew the text accordingly.
STEP-4 Go to filter>noise>add noise and set noise amount to 10 pixels.
STEP-5 Again go to filter>blur>Gaussian blur and set the radius amount to 0.6.
STEP-6 Here in this step we will give some plastic effect, so that the chocolate texture will have some bump in it. To do that, go to filter>artistic>plastic warp and set the values accordingly.
STEP-7 Now double click on this layer to bring in the layer style window and apply the layer style vlaues. Here i have used BEVEL and EMBOSS.
STEP-8 Once you have done with it, we will give some depth to the chocolate. Duplicate this chocolate layer 8 to 10 times, merge al these layers, place the merged layer below the original chocolate layer, CTRL+CLICK on this duplicate layer, fill the selection with any dark chocolate brown colour.
STEP-9 Now repeat the noise value which we have used early. Once it is done add some drop shadow to this layer.
STEP-10 Now select these both the layers, right click on this layer, selection the option merge, this will merge both the layers into one layer.
STEP-11 Now duplicate this layer, place this duplicate layer below the original layer, move it slightly down, this is for the reflection. Set the opacity of this layer to 45 %.
That’s it friends, we have completed this tutorial. This is the final preview of the image.
