Create a Vantage Point Movie Style Poster in Photoshop

Hi friends, we are back in track with a tutorial. In today’s post what we are going to see is how to create a Vantage Point movie style poster in Photoshop. This tutorial mainly involves only masking and a few other more simpler techniques. Ok, lets go into the tutorial.









To proceed with this tutorial we need the following assets. They are:-
Step 1: Open a new document of size A4 with white color background.
Step 2: Download business people vector silhouette custom shapes from here.
Step 3: Select the custom shape tool and click on the bottom arrow available here

Step 4: Click on this right arrow here and select replace shapes option from the drop down menu available.

Step 5: Select the downloaded custom shapes by browsing in the dialog box that opens.

Step 6: Select this particular custom shape.

Step 7: Choose the shapes option, foreground color as black and click and drag on the canvas like this to create something like this.

Step 8: Download some pictures like this.
Step 9: Place them like this inside your current document.

Step 10: Select all the images layer by holding ctrl and clicking on all the layers in the layers palette

Step 11: Now right click in the layers palette and choose create clipping mask option to get an output like this.

Step 12: Select and one of the image layers and press Ctrl + Shift + U to desaturate that image or else goto Image -> Adjustments -> Desaturate

Step 13: Repeat step 12 for all other image layers

Step 14: Select any one of the image layers and apply the following layer styles to it.

Step 15: Right click on that layer in the layers palette and choose Copy Layer Styles option

Step 16: Select all other image layers and again right click inside the layers palette and choose Paste Layer Styles option.

Step 17: Create a new layer on the top of all other layers and fill it with this color 002445.
Step 18: Change the blending mode of the topmost layer into softlight

Step 19: Add some more text like this and your poster is ready.
